Broccoli
Like its relative, the cauliflower, the “flower” (the flower stalks and flower buds) of broccoli is the edible part. The flower buds are usually dark green to bluish shimmering and fully developed. When these buds start to flower, they turn slightly yellow and should then be eaten quickly.
Did you know? … The stalk should definitely be processed and eaten, because there are particularly many nutrients. Compared to cauliflower, broccoli contains far more vitamin C and other important ingredients. It can be eaten raw.
