Honeydew melon

The honeydew melon is a commercial type of the sugar melon. It is a long-oval to round-oval fruit with a bright yellow and slightly ridged skin. The flesh of the honeydew melon is greenish-white and very sweet.

Did you know? … Botanically, the melon is more closely related to the cucumber than to the watermelon. It is at the blossom end (not the stem) that a ripe melon gives off its aroma most intensely.
